Why I got Baptized

When I think of how people look at the night sky and say "it is so big and I feel so small and insignificant" I think to myself "my Lord and Master created all that I see and that which I can't." Then I think of how when Christ comes back, he and all his brothers and sisters will be one with God. Man's life on this Earth is short and limited. When we die we are dead for good. However, when we take on Christ as our sacrifice and use him as an example to live by, we can be part of something so huge that it's the only thing that matters and lasts forever.

The reason why I got baptized was so that I could praise God forever and ever. To be part of the best and biggest family without pain or fear forever and ever. But I also got baptized because I knew that almost anywhere I went there would be believers with open arms, that would help me and guide me, and would do almost anything to make sure I got into the Kingdom. Baptism gives me the best kind of feeling of belonging there is.
